- eFiling.us is a filing service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice
- You remain responsible for the legal content and accuracy of all documents
- Filing through our Services does not create an attorney-client relationship
- You are responsible for meeting all court deadlines and requirements
- Our review is for formatting and technical compliance only, not legal accuracy
5. Fees and Payment
You agree to pay all fees associated with our Services as specified on our pricing page. Fees may include:
- Service fees for document processing and filing
- Court filing fees (passed through at cost)
- Expedited service fees, if applicable
Payment is due upon submission of filing requests. We reserve the right to suspend Services for non-payment.
6. Service Limitations
While we strive to provide reliable Services, you acknowledge that:
- Court e-filing systems may experience downtime or technical issues
- Filing acceptance is ultimately determined by the court
- We cannot guarantee specific filing times or court processing times
- Service availability may vary by jurisdiction
7. Confidentiality

8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EFILING.US SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from court rejections of filings
- Delays caused by court systems or technical issues beyond our control
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific filing at issue.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eFiling.us and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or any documents you submit for filing.
10. Intellectual Property
The eFiling.us website, logo, and all content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute our materials without written permission. You retain all rights to the legal documents you submit for filing.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not affect any pending filings or outstanding payment obligations.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the state where our principal place of business is located.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
